Chandra takes her position in her Wrangler area as Arsenio shuffles out further in the area. "Hey!" she shouts across the battlefield. "Didn't you burn down a town or something?"

With electricity coursing through its body, the Scovine finally loses consciousness.

Chandra waves her free hand at the judges and shouts. "Concession!"

Burning fire continues to rain down from the sky.

Chandra checks her watch, stands up, says her goodbyes, and starts herding Arsenio out of the mall.

"No problem!" She flashes him another smile. "Good luck in the tournament tomorrow. I hope that your construct has a good fight."

(Arsenio gains +2 Rage, 4 total) "Arsenio!" Chandra jumps up and down as she waves her arms at the plant monster. "Do the thing I told you to never do!" The Scovine tries to wiggle itself off the end of the Magnox's horn, with a little success. (Pinned down to 3) The Scovine's eyes gleam as it scrun...

"I'm not entirely sure," she admits. "He's the only one I've met, and they're not all that common around here."

"Don't touch her!" Chandra shouts at her Scovine. "She's all electrified!" (Arsenio gains +2 Rage, 2 total) Feeling defiant, Arsenio whips the Magnox with its tendrils. Some of its peppers burst as electricity courses through the Scovine's body, causing its other vines to jerk around uncontrollably....

Chandra considered the question and glanced down at her rules packet. "Hmm.. the big one seems to be avoid leaving the arena. There are a few more restrictions for flying monsters... oh, and don't leave your Wrangler Area. You can use medicine sprays if your monster gets close, but you can't rush in...

[Arsenio gains +2 Rage, 2 total] At the sound of the bell, Arsenio leans forward and sprays out a long line of its internal juices... which burst into fire as soon as they're exposed to air. The attack hits, and Nyx is covered in the burning pepper juice. (Nyx suffers 2 Damage and becomes Burning 2)...

The Scovine had gone back to the decorative plastic plant, which it had wrapped its vine around. It seemed to be trying to uproot the other plant, but its ultimate purpose remained vague and undecipherable.

"You're fine, don't worry about it!" She flashes him a friendly smile. "Yeah, it worked out alright. Arsenio is pretty easy to get along with, so long as you keep an eye on him and make sure all the fire alarms have fresh batteries. He's not allowed in the house, but he seems to like backyard pretty...

Chandra takes to the field alongside Arensio. The little Scovine trotted out to the starting position and waved its vines menacingly at its furry opponent.

"Good luck!" she calls out from across the field.

"Nappen are pretty nice monsters, usually. We used one as a nanny for my little sister, actually." She smiles at the memory. "Worked out really well. I'm a bit jealous, honestly." "It's not a bad idea," she agrees. "Just make sure you know what you're getting into before you tame one. There are some monsters, like these two -" she motions towards Diva and Arsenio "- who are fine, but there are others that are just... well, let's be charitable and call them 'experienced' monst...

"Oh, sure, come on over." Chandra scoots over to make room for him at her table. A moment later, she reaches down to keep Arsenio from moving into the place where she just was. "Let's see..." "Sure! What do you want to know?" She settles into her chair as Arsenio shuffles over to her side. It holds a pepper-filled vine up to her, but she just absently pushes it away.

Chandra shakes her head. "Oh, no, I'm a local. AMBA said that they'd put me on an intern list if I helped out, so even if I don't end up actually fighting, it still works out. And I get a good seat to watch all the action, too!"
