Re: Fight Commentary (Rayfe Drathmire vs Chandra Ellison) [D2 LA]

Citaly returned her attention to the fight. "It looks like Rayfe's Magnox has Chandra's Scovine pinned, but... oh, a clever use of Cinderfall! ... These umbrellas are fireproof, right?"

Re: Fight Commentary (Antony Acierno vs Desmond Brown) [D2 EA]

"Well, if we're still using the oldest strategy available since we relied on teeth and fists, there must be something to it, as our winner, Desmond Brown, and Zephid have shown! Congratulations to him! Both competitors and their monsters put in a great effort!"

Re: Fight Commentary (Ari vs Dion Moore) [D2 LA]

Citaly chuckled pleasantly. "I didn't know about the article, but that explains some strange questions I got around that time. That is really amazing."

Re: [Day 1, Late Morning] Getting a Feel For the Place (Open)

"Indeed," she replied with a bright nod. "And Saturnadus are about as smart as the average person. He's probably got a few thoughts about you." She looked at her Hergh affectionately. "Herghs, meanwhile, are as dumb as they are ugly and disgusting. But they have good qualities, and it can be cute fr...

She was silent for a beat as she gave him a strange look, then moved on. "They are unusual, but they are looking into the possibility of using fungal growths for computers, so it's less out there than it might seem."

Re: Fight Commentary (Calico Carter vs Carl Heinrich Mauser) [D2 LA]

Citaly clapped lightly (so as not to mess up the mic, but excitedly). "What a fantastic turn around! Congratulations to Calico and Orlok on their surprise win!"

Re: Fight Commentary (Ari vs Dion Moore) [D2 LA]

"While I'm not familiar with Ophidian's practices from the inside, I know Luna Films, uses them from time to time, when a monster is needed for a plotline that our on-staff Wranglers don't have available and trained, so I've worked with a few before," she said. "They're fairly smart creatures, espec...

"I deserved that," she noted with good humor at her very lame joke.

"For a smart Wrangler, ice may be an advantage. Water is conductive, after all."

Re: Fight Commentary (Calico Carter vs Carl Heinrich Mauser) [D2 LA]

"They are, but as your traveling, most monsters are good at finding meals wherever they might travel, no matter what their diet. Whatever miscellaneous wildlife might be in the field for a Saturnadus, I imagine. I'd be more worried about what one might have to eat in a town."

Re: Fight Commentary (Calico Carter vs Carl Heinrich Mauser) [D2 LA]

"The Saturnadus... whose name is Orlok, by the way... still has a chance to pull a win out of this if it can get loose."

She looked to Jason. "I did have a lovely conversation with Calico the other day where I got to meet him! He's really even cooler up close."

Re: Fight Commentary (Ashley Elle vs Fiadh) [D2 EA]

"I'm hearing from the medics now... apparently the Kleeth got a bit dinged up, but he's going to pull through. That's always good to hear. You can't win every battle, but he put up a good fight, and I gotta say, he looked damned good doing it." "He did! Both of the Wranglers and their Monster did a...

Re: Fight Commentary (Felix Lang vs Milo Whitewood) [D2 EA]

"Good point! I think the real trump card here is just what sort of energy that steel murder machine has loaded in its cannon. Re: Fight Commentary (Rayfe Drathmire vs Chandra Ellison) [D2 LA]

"Oh, I would never make Mr. Pukeybirb fight. He has lots of other ways to keep entertained. Between the two, though... and this may be a surprising choice... the Magnox, probably. It's a little tougher, but Mr. Pukeybirb has some advantages with melee opponents."

"It really is an impressive Saturnadus. In fact, this is a good time to warn our viewers at home not to look directly into a Saturnadus' wings, as that's how they get you. I'm reminded of an episode of The Flavor of Love when your character's ex-husband was mind-controlled by a Saturnadus and force...
