Bugs 2.5 [D4, EE - Open]

[Ashley Elle]

"It's more about the patterns of the colors. Blue is generally a positive emotion. Red is a negative one. Green is when he is curious. He uses other colors to kinda be more specific. Though if he glows rainbow like, that could be many things. This is apparently his mating glow. He also glows a rainbow when he is mesmerizing prey, but it's a different pattern. And if he's not feeling anything in particular, the colors are kinda random."

[Calico Carter]

"Just a complicated fellow, aren't you, Mr. Wiggles?"

[Ashley Elle]

Mr. Wiggles glows green while he ponders something, then blue and yellow. He then hisses. "He said yes he. Then he told Orlok he has good taste."

[Calico Carter]

"Oh?"

She mock-glared at Orlok.

"First time for everything, I suppose..."

Chitter.

("I like the Purple Human, yes.")

[Ashley Elle]

Mr. Wiggles hisses again. "I don't think I'm allowed to dye my hair purple. The record company has already done the photo shoots." Mr. Wiggles glows annoyed. And the starts to chew on Agatha's hair. This wakes up Miss Sparkles who just decides to join in to be a part of the group. "Hey, stop that!"

[Calico Carter]

"Don't get any ideas, Orlok..."

The saturnadus, incapable of chewing anything if he wanted to, adopted the most innocent expression possible.

"Can I, uh... help..."

[Ashley Elle]

"No. I got this." Agatha gently pulls Mr. Wiggles away and then he stops. He does grumble 'I want a purple human too.' And then Ashley gently removes Miss Sparkles who accepts the game is over flies back to her spot on Agatha's head. "That's how he plays sometimes. He doesn't actually eat the hair." She wasn't so sure about Miss Sparkles.

[Calico Carter]

"Be kind of a radical overhaul of your look if he did..."

Calico sounded amused.

[Ashley Elle]

"Yeah. I don't want to think about how my managers would react to that."

[Calico Carter]

"You know, when you put it that way? I kind of do."

Calico's tone was still amused, but a slight tinge of malice had entered it.

"I mean, it sounds like they basically run your entire life, except for the bits you can steal here and there... and maybe it's just me projecting a bit, but that kinda makes me want to drive them nuts."

[Ashley Elle]

Agatha shrugs. "Well, I guess they do. But I wouldn't be where I was without them. A kid is supposed to listen to their parents, right?" The thought just occurred to her that maybe Calico didn't realize that her managers and parents were the same people.

[Calico Carter]

"That's what they tell us, isn't it?"

She sighed.

"Mom was the one who wanted me on stage, but she was also the one who freaked out about every little aspect of my personality that didn't match what she was trying to sell."

[Ashley Elle]

Agatha nods. That seemed perfectly reasonable to her, but she didn't seem to see the problem that Calico was pointing at.

[Calico Carter]

"But if you're just a packaged product, then what's left of you?"

[Ashley Elle]

Agatha grew quiet. She never really thought about it before. She knew her parents would accuse Calico of being a jealous failure trying to ruin her. But Calico didn't seem jealous or angry. She seemed like she was trying to be helpful. And her parents did try to force her to get rid of Mr. Wiggles before the record company said they loved the idea of her having a light up worm.

[Calico Carter]

"I'm just saying... Ashley Elle may be all right, far as it goes, but Agatha who loves vermin is a much more interesting person to me."

[Ashley Elle]

Agatha gives a small smile. "Thanks." It's not like she didn't know that she was a product. Her parents told her as much. But she just pushed those feelings down in the hole where they can't hurt her. Having someone else say it to her made her reflect on it which she didn't like doing. Well, back into the hole with those feelings.

Agatha smiles brighter. "You're really nice. It is nice to be Agatha sometimes." And nice to know someone seems to like her besides her grandpa.

[Calico Carter]

"Well, you know, I'm nice to nice people. So I've been lucky with the mix I've met at this tournament, y'know?"

A pause.

"Besides. Given the company you keep?"

She gestured to Mr. Wiggles and Miss Sparkles.

"The way you appreciate and admire monsters a lot of people tend to regard as pests? I'd say Agatha is a really cool person I'm lucky to know."

[Ashley Elle]

Agatha blushes. "Um. Thank you." She is thrown off by the compliment to her person and not her talent or looks. "I've been pretty lucky with the people I've met here. Like the present company." She gestures towards both Calico and Orlok.

[Calico Carter]

Calico grinned.

"Orlok's going to be insufferable... well. More insufferable."

He fluttered his wings demonstratively.

"But on the whole, I'd say yeah. For the most part, I've liked the people I've met here."
