[Day 6, Late Night] The Midnight Oil (Ask)

[Mara Froste]

'Of course we won't sell monsters for food!' Mara seemed really riled up at that thought. 'They're friends and partners! I understand the blood sales that exist to feed monsters like Orlok but that can be done voluntary only.'

'There's more room over here.' Mara gestured to Calico's other side. 'I think she'd like you there.'

[Felix Lang]

Felix was taking another drink as Calico asked "I don't think I'm as comfy as you two are." He said right before Mara pointed to the area open next to them.

He looked to Calico with a questioning eyebrow see if she agreed with Mara's assessment.

[Calico Carter]

She waved him over.

"Gotta keep things..."

She blinked a bit as her brain tried to catch up to the various signals it was sending and receiving.

The little despairing voice in her mind that sounded like her mother was shrieking, but it was being comprehensively outvoted and drowned out.

"... cozy!"

[Felix Lang]

With her signing off on it the big man moved over and sat down next to them one arm going behind and around both women as he joined the cuddle.

He relaxed in taking another drink "yup yup this is way more comfy."

[Mara Froste]

Mara squeaked in surprise, blushing and burying her face into Calico's neck. Didn't expect to be included in this, but it's kind of nice. As long as Calico doesn't get upset and the focus stays on her.

[Calico Carter]

Ohhhhhhhh noooooooo...

Oh. Yes.

Calico bit her lip for a moment, then exhaled and set her glass down.

Enough of that.

I can trust them.

[Felix Lang]

Felix had settled in a goofy sized smile on his lips as he sat there. He noticed the exhale from Calico "Hey everything good with ya Cali coco?" He asked before chuckling a little.

[Calico Carter]

"Just so you never use that nickname again, yeah. Yeah, things are... very good."

One arm looped around Mara, the other around Felix. Or as far around Felix as it could reach, given the circumstances.

[Mara Froste]

Mara nuzzled in as close as she could, before kissing Calico lightly on the neck. 'Mmnn... this is nice.'

[Felix Lang]

He nestled into the woman as her arm managed to make it most of the way around him, he wasn't really crazy wide, and nuzzled into the top of her head a bit

"Oh come on its not that bad." Followed by a little chuckle.

[Calico Carter]

She flushed a bit when Mara kissed her, but didn't shy away.

"It's the absolute pits, Felix."

She didn't move, except to kiss the top of Mara's head, then turn toward Felix.

"The dirt-worst."

[Felix Lang]

As she turned toward him he flushed a little deeper, nuzzled into her as he was they would be only hair's breadth away. His light brown eyes looking into her purple ones.

"You can be so mean sometimes." He murmured between them His voice was breathy. Then his body moved before his brain thought, closing the distance between them and softly pressing his lips against hers.

[Calico Carter]

"Most of the time."

She met him halfway.
