[Day 2, Early Morning- Calico's Room] Rise and Shine (Closed except to phone calls)

The first gentle rays of dawn struck Calico's face to be greeted with a vaguely ill-tempered gurgle.
She blinked her eyes open and found that Orlok was making.... some species of eye contact. He'd bedded down in the shower, clinging to the wall and enjoying the darkness.
"You hungry?"
His antennae wavered a bit.
"Fine. Gimme a sec." She crawled out of bed, her rattiest t-shirt and most worn underwear forming an odd contrast to the posh hotel room.
She wasn't a morning person, but then again, neither was Orlok- going to sleep early had thrown them both out of whack. She fished up her "welcome package" from the tournament.
There they were- blood packs. She picked out a small one and put it in the microwave for a few seconds while she stared out the window.
Not used to waking to a sunrise, I'm usually going asleep to one...
With a ding, the blood was warm and she set it out on the counter. Orlok alit, shifted his feet a bit, and then plunged his proboscis in, slurping away.
"Enjoy, buddy. I'll-"
She nearly jumped out of her skin when the telephone rang.
"Uh... hi?"
"Miss Carter! Congratulations!"
"Uh... huh?"
"You've been chosen for a sponsorship by Vasoworth Solutions!"
"Are you... serious?"
"Very much so, Miss Carter! The paperwork is down here at the front desk, along with a Vasoworth Solutions representative, so..."
"Okay, hang on, I gotta... shower. Get dressed."
Pinch myself.
