[D3 EE] A Night Out

[Felix Lang]

"The resourcefulness of the income challenged, great minds think a like." He chuckled a little "Hey, thanks for coming out with me tonight. It's been really fun to explore this place with someone cool. Makes me feel a bit more comfortable here."

[Calico Carter]

"Well, y'know... back atcha. Kinda nice to just have a low-key evening out, y'know?"

[Felix Lang]

He nodded "True, though I don't actually remember the last time I had a high key evening out honestly."

[Calico Carter]

"Well, those tend to be expensive..."

[Felix Lang]

"Depending on what you like to do sure. But getting a group together to go like snowboarding. Or rock climbing or mountain biking. OK maybe rock climbing can be kinda low key depending on the spot. If I had a surf board I'd hit the surf here for sure."

"I guess those can also be expensive if you don't have a bike or a board...." He contemplated briefly.

[Calico Carter]

"I mean, pretty much? I actually thought about snagging a bike earlier today, but... I'm kinda trying to be slightly responsible. A bit."

[Felix Lang]

He nodded "I get that, they can be a life saver if you're travelling far distances. Though might have to trade mine in once Sumu gets full size, I don't think it's quite that roomy."

[Calico Carter]

"Or maybe buy him one of his own?"

[Felix Lang]

"Hmmm it's an idea I don't think I've ever seen a Temprill ride a bike before but I'm sure it could be possible. Maybe? Plus they arent exactly cheap..." He shook his head "thay sounds like a problem for future Felix to deal with."

[Calico Carter]

"Busy man, that future Felix, then..."

[Felix Lang]

"Oh yeah, that guy hates me. I'm always filling his day with problems."

"I just prefer to deal with problems when they need to be dealt with nit stressing about them in the mean time."

[Calico Carter]

"Ah, Past Calico did that... and boy does she complicate my life!"

[Felix Lang]

"Hopefully at least some of those complications are fun though." He said with a little smile "I at least get to thank past Felix for tonight." He chuckled a bit.

[Calico Carter]

"Yeah, he did a good job on that one."

She glanced at him and smiled.

"This is one time past Calico hasn't screwed me over, either."

[Felix Lang]

He smiled back as they walked a bit further their steps taking them along a sidewalk next to the beach, the gentle sound of waves filling the air as the moonlight and street lamps illuminated the path for them. Somewhat cool air breezing off the water toward them.

They made a turn and it seemed they had looped back to the hotel after a while of walking.

Felix took a deep breath letting it out in a little sigh "Well looks like wandering led us back to the hotel. Probably should go pick up Suramu, who knows what kind of headache he's giving those medics."

[Calico Carter]

"Hopefully not a physical one, that little guy has some muscle on him..."

[Felix Lang]

Felix chuckled "Ah no way he definitely wouldn't do that, probably, maybe......" He waved a hand dismissively "I'm sure it'll be fine, he's usually pretty friendly."

"I hope Orlok hasn't done too much damage to your room."

[Calico Carter]

"Probably nothing worse than shredding a shirt, but I'd probably better check on him all the same..."

[Felix Lang]

He gave a smile "Well regardless I appreciate you risking it to hang out with me."

"We established your stance on pick ups but where do you land on hugs?" He asked with a cheeky grin.

"Much, much easier to get away with."
