Something in how he'd set it had let her lighten up a bit, and she sounded more amused than anything else.

He glanced back to her. A big smile blossomed a moment later as he offered his hand for a shake.

"Try to win tomorrow cause then I'll tell everyone that I know a tournament champ who's really cool!"

"He seems to understand you well." Milo observes. "I sometimes wonder if monsters are more empathic than people. They pick up on things like emotions really well... maybe with constructs as an exception. Diva needs clear commands."
